First stop in Chile, the seaside town of Arica. Nothing much going on, but it has a history where Chile beat the Peruvian army on ‘el morro’ in 1880.

One of the deepest canyons in the world provided quite a steep 10 hours walk for us going down about 1000 meters and afterwards walking the same amount up in a sunscreaming 3 hours uphill battle. See more at wiki

For all Lima is a massive city of 10+ million people. To pick up the blog enjoy some photo’s of the old city centre, the cosy area of Barranco, the ghetto for rich people Miraflores and Callao which is basically built between the airport and the seaport.

Pisaq is probably the most beautiful sight around Cusco ( minus Macchu Picchu ). The pictures listed are just a sad approximation of this beautiful place and fine day

Moray and Ollantaytambo (Sacred Valley)

Moray and Ollantaytambo are both sites of the Sacred Valley area around Cusco. One is (Th T. ) is an old fort where the inca’s held out when they lost Cusco to the Spaniards, Moray is what people think a sort of laboratory, auditorium or place where the Inca’s used to play around. In the end, Salineas is a salt hill.
